A finales del mes de mayo, mes de Mar\u00eda, algunas de nuestras Hermanas emprendieron una aventura apost\u00f3lica.<\/p>\n\n

Cada a\u00f1o, un grupo de Hermanas hace una peregrinaci\u00f3n a pie desde el Santuario de Schoenstatt en Waukesha, WI hasta el de Milwaukee, WI. La caminata de unos 32 kil\u00f3metros les suele llevar unas 8 horas.<\/p>\n\n

La intenci\u00f3n principal de la peregrinaci\u00f3n es: \u00a1Vocaciones!<\/p>\n\n

Mientras caminan, rezan el rosario, saludan a las personas que se encuentran en el camino y ofrecen los sacrificios que conlleva una caminata tan larga para que muchos corazones j\u00f3venes se abran al plan de Dios para sus vidas. Rezan especialmente por aquellas j\u00f3venes que est\u00e1n llamadas a pertenecer a nuestra Familia de Hermanas de Mar\u00eda, para que la Madre Tres Veces Admirable les ayude en su discernimiento y les conceda las gracias necesarias para responder al llamado de Dios.<\/p>\n\n

La tradici\u00f3n de hacer esta \u00abCaminata por vocaciones\u00bb fue iniciada por una de nuestras Hermanas misioneras alemana, que en 1982 se propuso caminar sola desde el santuario de Milwaukee hasta el santuario de Waukesha. No estaba segura de cu\u00e1nto tiempo le llevar\u00eda, ni de lo que encontrar\u00eda a lo largo de su viaje. De hecho, ni siquiera estaba segura de poder lograrlo. Pero su celo misionero la impuls\u00f3 a seguir adelante y a ofrecer la peregrinaci\u00f3n por muchas y buenas vocaciones. \u00a1Y lo consigui\u00f3! Desde entonces, la peregrinaci\u00f3n se ha realizado casi todos los a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n

Only from heaven will we see how many of us owe the grace of our vocation to the prayers and sacrifices offered by our sisters throughout the years for this intention – especially during the \u00abWalk for Vocations\u00bb. <\/p>\n\n
